Belgian Tripel - Barrel Aged in French Oak

Wow. What a beer!

Belgian Tripel aged in French Oak barrels originally used for aging Aligote by Darling Estate Wines.

We have 2 vintages, across 4 barrels with one more than 4.5 years old providing exceptional barrel character, some slight molasses and a deep copper colour and 3 barrels with 2-year-old beer, providing luscious Tripel with notes of apple blossom and pear from the barrel.

The result is an incredibly complex rendition of one of our most beloved beers. The barrel has added luscious deep oak notes and further bottle conditioning has rounded and softened the beer into a simply divine drinking experience. This is indeed a very special Tripel, drink now or cellar wisely and these flavours will appreciate over time.
